The "Sliema" Band played a repertoire of festive and popular marches in a musical and folkloristic manifestation in Valletta and at the Mediterrenean Conference Centre on the occasion of an International Conference for the directors of the largest multinational companies on Monday 2nd May 2005.



At 8.00 pm the "Sliema" Band started playing festive marches from the Lower Barrakka to the Mediterrenean Conference Centre accompanied by folkloristic and historic personalities.

At the Mediterrenean Conference Centre the "Sliema" Band entertained the various directors of multinational companies with its music.
The artistic decorations are property of the Feast Commission of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Sacro Cuor) of Sliema.



At about 10.30 pm the "Sliema" Band played more festive marches from the Mediterrenean Conference Centre to Lower Barrakka where at 11pm there was a display of ground fireworks.
